Mindbody Wellness Clarity Tip:
A Simple Tip to Release Worry
Dear Awesome Woman,
“Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. It is not philosophy. It is physics.” -Albert Einstein maybe. (There is a discrepancy as to whether Einstein said this whole quote or not)
Wow. That sounds amazing!
But how do we get to the energy frequency that we want? In a world that is ever changing with ups, downs, and strange turnarounds, how do we stay in the feel good, everything-is-great space reality?
My hunch is that we can’t. But we can use tools amidst the challenges to ‘play’ with the energy and raise our vibration. Life is spiral in nature and as we dissolve our limiting beliefs, process emotional energy, embrace our shadow parts instead of living in resistance to them, and welcome in our intuition, our energy does shift and we can make ourselves more of a vessel to receive a higher quality of life.
When I wake up in the morning, sometimes a bunch of worry thoughts come rushing into my mind. One of the tools I’ll use to shift energy from this funky space of worry is to vent on paper. I have cheap spiral notebooks that I keep in a few places and I’ll take a few minutes to scribble those worries on paper. It’s like my own private complaining session. I’ll just pour out what’s swirling in my mind onto the paper, and add a little somatic energy release* to get my emotional system engaged, and then rip up the paper.
With that venting release, I’m then ready to move into the space of ‘never take anything for granted.’ I use a medium sized dry erase board and quickly scribble a bunch of the things in my life that I’m so grateful for. Things that I’m not taking for granted. The sky is the limit, but I just jot down a few. A dry erase board is easy to use because the next day, I’m able to erase and begin again.
This takes a few minutes of my time and really does up my energy frequency. I also may receive some insight into an issue because releasing emotions makes way for intuition to be heard. Not only do I become more of a receiving vessel for soul wisdom, but I feel stronger, more centered and grounded.
