Grounded Below, Connected Above
Words to Inspire— God Said What?! #MyOrthodoxLife
Dear Awesome Reader,
A few days ago was the wonderful holiday of Tu B’shvat —the Jewish New Year for trees. Happy birthday, Trees! This holiday is celebrated by eating special fruits like pomegranates, almonds, dates, figs, and even exotic fruits to make a special blessing on.
Humans are compared to trees for as much as we need to be grounded below with strong roots, we need to stretch skyward and remember our high soul connection.
Our mission is not to escape the material, earthly realm but to transform it into a dwelling place for the Divine. We do this by using the physical for good. Money is used for health and to give charity, food is used to nurture and live, and computers are used to help others with information and send words of kindness.
It’s beautiful to notice all the acts of kindness pulsating through the world today.
God Said What?! #MyOrthodoxLife brings love, laughter and Kabbalistic mystical blessings along its journey. Also available on Audible for your listening pleasure and makes a great gift.
‘”God Said What” is a book you only come by once in a decade! The engaging style and relationship angst made it a real page-turner. My elderly Mom was equally fascinated and couldn’t put it down and kept rereading it too! Thank you Miriam!” – Mom Gold
“Fun and enjoyable to read! I love the book! It keeps you interested till the end!” — Malky B.
